Hi! I'm Hepburn, the founder of the indie animal advocacy group, The Voiceless Speak Forever. In 2018, The Voiceless Speak Forever was created with the mission to change social media and streaming platforms' lax community guidelines that allowed animal abuse imagery to be posted and remain despite complaints made against them. After starting a successful petition that gathered over 390,000 signatures along with heavy campaigning from VSF and other animal advocates demanding policy changes, Instagram implemented the ‘Animal Abuse’ report button as a way to safeguard against animal abuse imagery. While this was a start, more still needed be done. So, as a follow-up to this achievement, I created the first ever narrative-driven animal true crime podcast, The Voiceless Speak Forever, to spread greater awareness of lesser-known animal cruelty cases as well as to bring justice to the victims. Since the podcast’s conception, it has created real life change for featured advocates.

If VSF's mission and purpose are social change oriented, and it provides a public benefit, is VSF a nonprofit?
VSF is not a nonprofit. After careful consideration, it was decided that VSF will be a for-profit organization. While VSF offers social services by giving a voice to the voiceless through media, there are so many wonderful non-profit animal welfare groups out there that need your donations! I don't want to take away from them, so that's why VSF sells products. I offer you something snazzy and, in return, VSF uses the profits accrued to grow! So, if you want to support VSF, get yourself some VSF merch, tell others about the cause, listen, subscribe, and review the podcast, and submit stories that need to be told!
